I am seeking adventure! Know where I can find it? Easily? Readily? Without cost or exertion?
Right here in my mind; that is where real adventure begins. I can imagine any adventure I wish, and, can choose to leave it in the mind, or take it to real time...
I can also experience adventure from reading, writing, watching movies, videos, or playing games. There are so many virtual ways to experience adventure these days, that one has to wonder, how many are actually out there finding and fulfilling their adventure fantasies?
Each of us has our own fantasy adventure or two. Some of us actually live it out, but, most are content to experience it secondhand. That in itself is a rather dubious action, but, such is human nature. And, for those who cannot jump at the chance for living out such, secondhand is just as good as being there....
We were all excited with various adventures from stories. Huck Finn, Robinson Crusoe, Ben Hur, Superman, Batman, Die Hard, the Titanic, Armageddon, and, so many other adventures have had us sitting on the edge of our seats wanting more. We actually experience the adventures of the character, and, this is a great thing!
Yes, adventure is right here, alive in the mind; waiting to take us where we might want to go; hoping that we will one day be able to actually have our own creative adventure that we might entice others as well....
